Slim, straight, athletic, relaxed and bootcut denim, in rigid, low-stretch and stretch fabrics. Wash inside out, cold, and as rarely as you can stand: every cycle takes indigo out. New denim transfers colour onto pale upholstery and shoes for the first few wears, which is normal. A hot dryer is what makes stretch denim stop recovering.
